Iron Campers Summer camp

Started in 2022, the Iron Campers Summer Camp was created to introduce robotics to middle schoolers. This summer camp is a week-long program for rising 3rd to 8th graders, hosted by the Iron Panthers, designed to teach skills in programming, design, and engineering through hands on projects.

Students are given an FTC drive base and are taught and tasked with programming, designing, and engineering their own mechanisms. The camp culminates with a competition where students compete and show off their designs, aiming to assist students in rapidly expanding their technical skills and interpersonal skills in teamwork, leadership, and communication.
