Qualification matches at the World Championships are officially complete! Yesterday we powered through our 5 matches, securing us rank 12 in the Johnson Division. We also placed 9th by overall EPA, 7th in autonomous EPA, and 4th in supercharged RP EPA on our field. Last night we were hard at work developing our picklist for alliance selection this morning. Although we experienced some stormy weather, we still enjoyed cheering on our team, exploring all the fun the venue had to offer, and enjoying some delicious tacos for dinner. We had an exciting first day of qualification matches on Thursday at the FRC World Championship Johnson Division. It was a very busy day of strategizing, scouting matches, and talking to other teams. On the field, Troubleshooter showcased its stellar scoring ability in qualification matches. Unfortunately, we were red carded in one of our matches from an accidental intrusion into another bot’s perimeter. This lead to disqualification from earning any ranking points in that match. The Iron Panthers finished the day ranked 23 out of 75 teams. Later that night, some of our team members had a blast unwinding at RoboProm. Thank you for hosting, Eagle Robotics @team399! Yesterday, we loaded in at the FIRST World Championship, during which our robot Troubleshooter successfully passed inspection and performed in a practice match. Some team members set up pits, while others split up to explore the huge convention center! We visited the Innovation Faire, met some team mascots and went on some fun boat rides. We also visited @5026_tesla_coils, our FTC team number twin!
